Caldwell Sutherland and the world of design are a family tradition with a heritage dating back more than a century. Her great-uncle, renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, for instance, created and built New York’s Central Park.

Two decades ago, Caldwell Sutherland was one of the nation’s premier specialty fashion jewelry designers. Her pearl necklaces, earrings, bracelets and accessories were created on a personal, one-on-one basis for the adornment of Hollywood stars and female entrepreneurs.  They also retailed nationwide at Neiman Marcus and at Amen Wardy luxury boutique.

Following the sale of her original company in the early 1980s, Caldwell concentrated her efforts in the residential and commercial interior design field (www.caldwellsutherland.com). By late-2008, however, she returned to her first love—the creation of distinctive, sophisticated, one-of-a-kind jewelry for the modern woman.

Los Angeles’ fashion jewelry designer, Caldwell Sutherland unveiled her latest collection of Legacy jewelry at a Bel Air, CA estate. Along with the jewelry, Sutherland also introduced the new model for the line, Alexis Scott.
